Victor Paul Sorrentino (SUBMITTED)

Southern Regional Police are looking for two brothers who robbed a 78-year-old woman right before a Christmas Eve church service, according to a news release.

Victor Paul Sorrentino, 57, of Dundalk, Md. and Gregory Robert Sorrentino, 54, of Joppa, Md. are wanted for the Dec. 24 robbery of the woman inside the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom, police said.

Both men went into the church at about 3:30 p.m. before the church service, police said. They walked around the church and one of them removed a wallet from the purse of the woman, police said.

The woman saw one of the Sorrentino brothers take the wallet and confronted him, the release states, but she was shoved backwards into a wall and bench, causing her to fall.
