Not very long ago, I started my baby on table foods. Back in the past, when I was a new mom, i'd easily just grab and go for whatever sounded like it would be good for the baby and good to the baby as a desert reward for eating his food. As time went on, I began to hear the occasional this and that about what's in jarred baby food, which I found to be a cause for concern. The more I hear, the easier it is to walk past that baby food and just turn to foods that can be prepared and fed to my baby in the convenience of my own home. At least since i'm preparing these foods, I know exactly what's going into these foods and therefore what's nourishing my baby.
With the Nuk Mash and Serve Bowl, it's simple and convenient to mash fruits and steamed veggies, not only in the comfort of your own home, but this simple design makes it easy to prepare foods for baby even on the go. I appreciate that it's BPA free, which is a big deal to me. It's designed for babies starting at age 6 months, which is the recommended time to start baby on solids, all the way up to 36 months. I like the durable feel to it and I also captured a couple of pics to share the thoughtful design that went into making this bowl. This design makes it even easier to really get foods mashed well. I also wanted to add that recipes are available to get you going. For more information on this and other products available to make the transition to solids easy, check out the Fresh Foods Prep page on the Nuk website.
