Here?s how to demonstrate to your team that you?re a visionary:

1. Articulate your purpose. It?s your company?s compass. Facebook?s mission is ?to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.? What?s yours?

2. Remember that entrepreneurial spirit is ageless. When Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank started Home Depot in 1978, they were 34 and 48 years old, respectively. If you?ve been viewing entrepreneurship as a young person?s game, shift your thinking.

3.? Seek mentorship to maintain your focus. The best leaders do. Once, when Starbucks? Howard Schultz was on vacation in Hawaii, he ran into Michael Dell, and the two ended up taking a three-hour bike ride along the Kona coast. Dell advised Schultz on how the then-struggling company could handle Wall Street.

4. Don?t be afraid to experiment. Many world-changing entrepreneurs start with a small idea and grow with it. They don?t start big. Richard Branson sold records out of his car?s trunk.
